Rounding up 5!

Thanks so much guys for all the fuel tips.  I think many things played into my fatigue this past Wednesday.  You guys are the best and I always appreciate the feedback.
 Now on to the....

Top 5 of this Week!

1. My New Mirror

-Ain't is cute? I won this at our school auction this year.  It was created by the 6th grade class which my daughter is in.  Every little mosaic piece was placed on the mirror by 6th grade hands.  This kids initialed the back, saved in time forever.  She can have it back when she moves out.......

-Hey my road dogs are outside.  Watch out for us!

3. My Magic Bullet

-No not that one! I got this one in the red light district of "Bed, Bath, and Beyond my budget".  I love this little bullet for my new Green Smoothies.  Have ya'll gotten on board yet? You know that smoothie is droolworthy!

This Morning's Green Smoothie
-Handful Spinach
-Handful Strawberries
-Handful Blueberries
-Handful Walnuts
-1 Cup 1 % Milk
-2 Scoops Muscle Milk Light

4. 73 degree days in March
-It sure was nice to have a 73 degree day this week.  Very nice to have the warm sunshine on my face.  I can't wait until summer, especially this year!

5. My Sister

-Even through long distance and cat fights we still love each other and have each other's back! Thank you Nicole for your love and support.  Wasn't she cute? She still is!

Happy Training!

I like that mirror, sister! I am amazed at the sophistication of the things kids make in school and in arts 'n' crafts classes these days. I remember when I was a kid, bringing home these misshapen lumps of clay and saying, "Here, Mom, I made you an ash tray because God forbid you not have a place to put out your stinky cigarettes and I maybe coulda got you some nicotine gum instead and helped you kick this filthy habit but we weren't making nicotine gum at school today, so here's this ash tray. But don't get it near an open flame or anything hot because it might explode."

I'm sorry, sister - I'm seeing these green smoothies all over the running interwebs but I just can't get onboard. They look like something that might rule over the swamp in Swamp Thing II: Smoothie's Revenge.

I'm sure they taste great but still.

Hey - supportive family! Lucky you, sister! My family's pretty cool too!

Have a great weekend and thanks for the encouragement at my blog!

Keep pushing them and I may have to try one (green smoothie). Can you put chocolate chips in them?? Might make for an interesting presentation.

I've heard lots of people rave about the Magic Bullet, but I barely use either our blender or our food processor, so I doubt I'd be mixin up delicious smoothies like you!

When it comes to sisters, cat fights are all part of the sisterlove! That is a SUPER cool mirror, and yes, I am now officially into green smoothies-- nothing like starting my morning off with some kale to make me feel healthy and energetic!

I'm with Marcy...and unless THIS Magic Bullet can make a margarita, I'm OUT! Keep telling yourself they're tasty;)

I am only child so I always love sibling stuff. It's neat, weird and different to me.

That is a cool mirror! And that photo of your sis is so cute. Somewhere there's a similar photo of my sis and she even has the same haircut!

Hi, I'm Rachel and I just followed your comment over from Run to the Finish. Am also almost 38 two kids cyclist, runner, etc..! and we went to the TOC in Pasadena to see Lance and the end of the race. It was a blast!

Anyway, love the 5 things post. Need the magic bullet.

I've been trying to get people on board with the green smoothie for the last year. No one believes me when I talk about how wonderful they taste! They all give me this look of repulsion as soon as I get to the "and then you add spinach or kale or something" part. Always nice to experience the reassurance that I'm not a culinary freak!

I'm loving the mirror Shannon. Still not on board with the green "stuff" but love the "bed bath & beyond my budget" line! LMAO
