Waking up to 55 degree weather was glorious! I was so excited to retrieve the shorts from the back of my closet. Ok, this might be "to much information" but I'm a below the knee shaver in the winter months. Today if you saw a very white woman with golden brown hair blowing in the wind, that was me. It's currently 70.6 degrees and I just love that spring is giving us a kiss in February. I had to run 11 today, Shamrock is about 5 weeks away. I had a lot of fun today, I ran in the warm weather, I didn't feel any pain, and I ran on some trail-like paths to lessen the impact on my joints. I was slow today, but I enjoyed it. Going to bounce to the shower and shave above the knees!

This warm weather has been mah-velous. I wonder if I should start shaving below the knee? :-)
Awesome weather! I believe we're hitting above 50 today, so I'm stoked for my run tonight
Nice job on the run; I'm glad Mother Nature blessed you with such spring-like conditions!
In my 20+ years of running, this is the single greatest workout I have ever seen. I'd suggest submitting it to the Running Hall of Fame. They will want to bronze your Garmin.
BTW, everyone knows that you have hairy legs. Do you think we forgot the pic you posted modelling your knee strap?
I'm lovin the warm weather, shorts and a tank is killer! Now you're getting into the pool...you got to shave it all, above the knee, above the, well, you get it. Don't show up with a tarantula growing out of your suit;)
I don't know who that SAHHWBW is, but he is mean spirited with a bizaare sense of humor that no one understands.
Good job on the 11 miles. If you knee isn't clicking or giving you any problems, could you try to bring the pace down to 10:00 miles? It's only :22 faster. If you find that difficult to hold, try running part of it at that pace and then slow down.
How does one find the really cool running guy you've posted on your blog? I may have a new avatar.
Haha, I totally do the same winter shaving routine!!! It's 63 degrees here, simply beautiful... but supposed to get super windy. There's some tornado watches in Ohio, so we'll see what happens by the time they hit Western PA.
You even bother to shave in the in the winter months?!? I don't! HAHAHHAA Well I do . . .sometimes. As in maybe just maybe once a month :P
Ah, Marcy beat me to my comment. Yeah, the people at the pool REALLY love it when I show up.
Didn't you guys know that women not shaving is "Euro Cool"! Guys dig it ;) (that's a wink BTW)
We will try to send some more of that typical Florida weather your way...
lovely weather.
Luv the ascii art. Yes I am a dork!
no way you could run today, huh?? WAAAAY too Wendy.
I'm fully shaved to mid-thigh today, BTW.
Smoov.
OMG you had 70+ degree weather. I think shorts weather in Chicago is 40 degrees these days.
Great job on the run.
I like the training plan post as well. Like to see how people are training for some little motivation as well.
ps. I don't shave my legs either during the winter as well.
Wow, that is some surprisingly nice weather up there where you are. Glad you had a great run!
You made a comment on my blog about my group dropping you, but after reading some of your training it may be the other way around. You would probably drop us.
