Not Her..........
....I hate running into this wind.......Why do I feel compelled to wave, smile, or comment at every runner I pass.........Girl Talk is awesome to run to.........sure wish I could run with BP.......what is that smell...........dag-on I forgot tissues, should I blow my nose in my shirt.............why didn't that old couple smile at me...........why did the Garmin just shut off..........I'm hungry........I love when the wind is finally at my back.....pretty good run for a windy 48 degree day..........

I don't like running in teh wind either, but think of it as resistance training!
I don't like running at all, Shannon. Haha.
In fact, I would much rather do any number of cardio machines, including the ever ellusive rower or boring stair stepper than attempt to run.
I'm not sure if it's the fact that I have low arches and so it always sort of hurt to run or what... but, put me on a spin bike or an elliptical and I can go for days... put me outside on the road and I can run for about 30 seconds.
So in my book, wind or no wind... you rock! (also, that first picture really made me giggle!)
Have a great weekend!
I too feel compelled to speak, nod, say good-afternoon, or whatnot to everyone I pass. Good thoughts on your run - thanks for sharing!
BTW, I love Oxygen too.
Yeah I hate running into wind too. I ran at a local park with a 1 mile loop. It figured that the part running into the wind was the uphill part
going into the wind just makes the part going with the wind all the more of a treasure
wind sucks...but try it at 5 degrees it really sucks
I ran inside yesterday to avoid the wind.. I hear ya.
8 miles, great job. what does 48 degrees feel like? we had 4 degrees yesterday. who or what is this 'bp' that you'd like to run with? does it mean 'big pecs'? are you thinking of getting implants? please don't, they will slow you down and make you more top heavy, making it more difficult to balance on a stability ball. if 'bp' is bill pierce, he's far more annoying to run with than you can imagine. that's why no one in his running club ever runs with him.
Shannon -
You just inspired me to write some new lyrics:
My name is Windy and I like to blow trees.
I think I'll use them is a song with Chris Martin about coming home.
Yeezy
But that wind at your back does make up for the sucky headwinds.
I think I hate cycyling in the wind more thou.
Wind sux, wind and contacts really sux! Carrie U DID have makeup on and was sweet and cute as you might imagine...bitch;) I wanted to say, hey Britney, glad to see you have a new boyfriend...but I didn't and just let her buy her 'fake' chick'n nuggets.
WInd SUCKS!! But no sympathy here... you said it was 48 degrees!!!
;)
Keep it up!!
I agree with others. Wind sucks, esp. in the cold (and more even so on the bike).
And I never need tissues any more on a bike ride or run after my hubby taught me this trick: Just turn your head to the side, cover one nostril with a thumb and blow hard. Of course, check to make sure no one is beside you that might get hit ;-)
Hey Wendy? Can you bring me an oriental chicken salad. I really like those and we just don't have Wendy's here.
You crack me up with your thoughts! By the way I hate to ran all together regardless the weather! LOL
Maybe thats why I have ham hocks on the sides of my back..... :)
