5 Reasons to do the Seagull Century

1. Entry Fee

~I paid $55, which lately for me is on the cheap side for races.  Included in the entry fee is,  "Friday Night Welcome Reception, rest stop refreshments (does this include wine?), Saturday Lawn Party entertainment, & Century T-shirt..."

2. Voted Top 10 bike rides in the US

~Beautiful flat course in the Salisbury, Maryland area.

3. Motivation

~If you ever wanted to complete a century ride this would be the perfect summer training event to "stay motivated" this summer.

4. Riding with your buddies

~Riding with 6,000 of your closets friends sounds pretty spectacular to me.

5. Free Beer!

~I don't know if you get free beer, but if you come do the race I'll make sure you get a beer  & back rub from me. :)

O, sister! Things could get outta hand ...

Better go with beer and a front rub.

Hahahahahaha!

Am I the creepiest old guy in the blogosphere or what?

Hahahahahaha!

No, no free beer....but you can replace that with Atmosphere! There is no other century ride that compares!

...and did we mention all the pie and ice cream you can eat at the last stop!!!

I'll be there. For the 7th or 8th time...I don't remember the exact count because I've lost track!

Thanks for stopping by my blog- and thanks tons more for the prayers!

Those are 5 reasons I may have to take a mom trip to Maryland- I'd probably bring my friend with me too, that's her country.

Oh! The other rides look great too!

(I deleted the first comment- wrote VA in a ding dong moment- duhh)

Wish I was there. This would be a must do... but it would go against my "one race a year" regimen.

I ...don't live near there
I am running out of reasons, but i'd rather be running
Umm no road bike?
