A Stress Relieving Day

What do ya'll do when you've had a stress filled work week? The kind of week where your overwhelmed with work or responsibilities? My husband needs to get in the car and drive somewhere.  When he "gets away" it seems that the stress just melts away.  We decided to split for the day and go to the Virginia Air & Space Center.  We ended the day with a trip to our favorite Mexican Restaurant where I definitely consumed my weight in their chips, salsa, and fresh made Guacamole. • Any atheists reading my blog, go watch the IMAX movie Under the Sea 3D and tell me there is no God!

  • My son's hat stage is driving me bonkers

  • My husband is a pilot and a man standing behind him was trying to tell him how to fly the simulator. LOL...

  • I'm really 31 years old!

  • Did I really take a picture of my two children laying on a bed of nails?

  • Get away, it's definitely worth it for the peace & sanity of the family unit!

Looks like fun times! We went somewhere once with a bed of nails. What a hoot!

It's funny about the person telling your husband about how to fly the simulator.

And gee, if people between 35 and 44 exercise the least, I wonder what will happen with me next year when I'm back outside that range?!? Guess it's time to BRING IT ON!!! LOL

That looks like a great way for a family to de-stress. And in regards to your son's "hat stage"... if that's the worse you have to deal with, that is wonderful! Remember, it's just a stage. LOL.

I know that I love to hit the pool on friday afternoons when I leave school. It's the only afternoon that it is open for lap swim. It is quiet, I get a lane to myself, and I can pump out all that built up frustration and stress. WONDERFUL feeling.

I found an awesome authentic mexican place here called Taco Rock! No Tex-Mex, although I love that too, just a lot of good stuff to overfill my belly. Looks like you guys had ablast at the space center. BTW, I'm in. WSSC Bound!

Sorry to hear that you had a stressful week but you plan to get-outta-dodge looked pretty sweet! What an awesome place. I wish that we had a museum like that local to us here in the upstate! Looks like you guys had a great time.

You know, I often wonder how people can say there is no God when there are so many amazing wonders (like the human body for one) around us EVERY-STINKING-DAY!

Bed-O-nails..... hmmmm

What a fun getaway!!

That bike is really weird. Definitely would want to make sure you kept your head up and out of the way of that top/front wheel spinning with the two things on them.

I do not lay on a bed of nails to relieve stress! ROFL... although I am tempted to try!! I am a big believer in eating my weight in chips and salsa though ;-)

What fun! Ya know, the more I learn about science, the more I believe in God. Not that I need the science, but it is affirming.
