~Hunt Club Farm & Caramel Apples~

We decided to make a day of fall activities on Saturday.  Fall weather definitely rolled in on Friday night with temperatures in the 50's. Saturday was a blustery fall day packed with pumpkin picking, animal petting, & caramel apples.

Cute Look Em!
She gets her fashion
sense from me of course.

No John, we can't have a goat as a pet!

My germaphobe son saying, "Do I HAVE to pet it?"

Caramel Apple Time!
Washing the apples....

Getting the ingredients ready.....

Wow, their actually working together!

Caramel Apples from scratch!
Thank you Paula Deen, they were delicious.

Oh.....your asking, "Miss Health Conscious had a gooey, nutty, caramel apple?"

Yep, it was delectably......

I LOVED those pictures!! I'm with the germaphobe... not much of a goat-petter myself. :)
I've got to get my kids up there, though...looks like fun!! And Yum! on the caramel apples!! Hey, it's fruit, right??? That's healthy....

You most definitely don't want a goat as a pet. They smell.

Shannon Darling -

I'm thrilled that you're using my recipe for caramel apples. You know that all of us on the Food Network are addicted to your blog. We really love your posts and your friends' comments. All except that smart ass Bill Pierce. I hate him as much as his youngest son, who watches every show on the Food Network, hates me.

Love ya honey bun,

Paula

You know guys I was very tempted to write a "inappropriate" joke about John and the goat but changed my mind. He would of killed me!!

Thanks Paula for the kudos....

No Travis, we're burning off the apples tonight

Bob, John is dreaming of the goat.....
